突然ですが、以前英語の進学補習で書いていたエッセイ（5文程度）の一部をそのまま載せたいと思います。
いくつかレパートリーが有るには有るので、たまに放出していきますね。

An important thing of school life
Sometimes, lecture meetings and speeches are given in this school.
Some people give uninteresting speeches.
My friends and classmates often get to sleep during their speeches.
But, I have never fallen asleep.
I think it is important for us to learn something however uninteresting speeches maybe.
This attitude is the most important in school life.
〜軽い日本語訳〜
時々、講演会やスピーチが学校で行われる。
そして、面白くないスピーチをする人もいる。
友人達やクラスメイト達はよく、講演会やスピーチの間に寝ているのだ。
しかし、僕は眠りに落ちたことがない。
僕は、例えどれだけスピーチが面白くなかったとしても、そこから何を学ぶかが重要だと思う。
この態度は学校生活において最も重要なのだ。
